Public Works is responsible for maintaining and improving our City’s infrastructure, providing garbage collection, disposal services, maintaining the City’s traffic systems, cleaning of streets, culverts, limbs, leaves and much, much more. The department, through its’ dedicated employees, strive to plan, build, maintain and operate the infrastructure in a manner that respects the environment while being responsive, reliable, good stewards of fiscal and human resources, while finding innovative ways to improve the delivery of our services and assets for generations to come. The department takes great pride it its’ responsibility for maintaining certain areas of the City infrastructure as well as making sure our community is as beautiful as possible.
